P A T T E R N S  O F  E B B  A N D  F L O W Twaalf internationale studenten van  ArtScience, Sonologie en Compositie  uit Den Haag verblijven een week lang aan de kustzone in Almere Poort. Deze eerste editie van de StrandLAB winterschool, waarbij het werken in de buitenruimte centraal staat, maakt onderdeel uit van het interdisciplinaire Bachelor- en Masterprogramma van de ArtScience Interfaculteit . Docenten Cocky Eek en Kasper van der Horst begeleiden de studenten. De ‘uitvinderachtige’ studenten aan de Interfaculty werken op het grensvlak van kunst en recente ontwikkelingen in wetenschap en technologie. Tijdens deze winterschool in Almere focussen ze in het bijzonder op de elementen en patronen van de natuur. Hoe leiden de bewegingen van wind, water en zand tot een compositie of installatie?
